Today, Shalom International Movers is proud to be able to give back to the community as part of our CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility efforts right on time for our Nation’s 55th Birthday.
The logistics industry has been badly affected by the COVID-19 situation with ripple effects seen for Shalom due to the halt in the construction sector. Renovation works are on hold and handovers delayed resulting in move cancellations and postponements for many of our customers.
Over the last seven months, we have been blessed to be able to contribute to National level and corporate projects in preparing accommodations for our Malaysian neighbours whom have chosen to stay on in Singapore to work, in preparing designated holding areas for our migrant workers, in distributing medical items and PPE – Personal Protective Equipment to various locations island wide, preparing care packs for our migrant workers, and in distributing National Day Together Packs to our fellow Singaporeans in partnership with MINDEF as we enter our 8th year of sponsorship for NDP – National Day Parade.
As such it is fitting that we assist our peers from the construction sector via the Migrant Workers’ Assistance Fund, lending hope to all in rebounding together and growing stronger together for a better Singapore.
Together we can make a difference by being SGUnited and Shalom Strong, because at Shalom, we care and want to be a blessing to others in their time of need.
